I hope the disease is not contagious. I just bought my first Glock, a new G 26. I am now working on converting my shooting from 1911 to Glock. Amazing how much different they are.
As a 1911 fan, I was a little disappointed that my platoon voted to order Glocks as our commerative handgun. Luckily, the company allowed each soldier to select the model and caliber. I chose a G21 and could not be more satisified with it.
My G20 is at least 20 years old (as is the holster I carry it in). It’s the only Glock I own. Haven’t looked for another. Haven’t looked AT another. You can carry only one gun at a time.
Now for fun I have several other pistols, including the obigatory 22 autopistol, but that’s a whole different story.
If I can manage to wear out my Glock (and I really would like to) then I’ll get another carry pistol of some kind– maybe a Glock and maybe not.
Lyle: If your G20 is that old, it might well be subject to the same unsupported chamber issue that is reported to be the cause of numerous G20 Kabooms. If you haven’t looked into it yet, I strongly suggest that you do. Remember: Murphy is an ass.
Todd S: Yeah the M1 rifles in my safe have been multiplying of late… First the DGR H&R, then the CMP special, then the beater Springer, then the CMP IHC…. Who knows what will come next…

That’s enough plastic to build a Tesla.

I’ve had a Glock 19 for about a decade, and had been thinking about picking up a used 17.
Thank you for the timely, preventive warning.
I think I should be OK as long as I stay out of pawnshops for a while.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step toward recovery.
I’ve a 2nd Gen Glock 19 and that’s enough Glocks for me. M1911A1’s or HK USP’s, that’s another consideration.

I’m like that with my WWII rifles. Oh I don’t need another Lee-Enfield… My M-1 fine by itself… I’m doing the work, I’m not a slacker!

One can NEVER have too many guns, too much ammo or too many friends.

So… Glocks are like tribbles?
August 2nd, 2014 at 3:38 am
Well yeah…if you have to pay about 500 bucks to get a tribble to procreate.
Glock collections should stop at 4.
OK, maybe 5.
6 if you find a really good deal but that’s it.

Mike V — Sure you can have too much ammo.
If you’re carrying it. . .
