Rand Paul, again
Always wondered why Grimes’ accent sounded overly exaggerated. Turns out, he’s from Where Great Britain Used To Be. Still, good job
Every where around the world. They’re coming to America.
So, a bit back, Beretta “expanded” to TN. Now, they announced that they’re moving all MD manufacturing to TN:
Beretta U.S.A. Corp., located in Accokeek, Maryland, announced today that it has decided to move its manufacturing capabilities from its existing location to a new production facility that it is building in Gallatin, Tennessee. The Gallatin facility is scheduled to be opened in mid-2015. Beretta U.S.A. had previously planned to use the new Gallatin, Tennessee facility for new machinery and production of new products only.
During the legislative session in Maryland that resulted in passage of the Firearm Safety Act of 2013, the version of the statute that passed the Maryland Senate would have prohibited Beretta U.S.A. from being able to manufacture, store or even import into the State products that we sell to customers throughout the United States and around the world. While we were able in the Maryland House of Delegates to reverse some of those obstructive provisions, the possibility that such restrictions might be reinstated in the future leaves us very worried about the wisdom of maintaining a firearm manufacturing factory in the State, stated Jeff Cooper, General Manager for Beretta U.S.A. Corp.
Turns out, gun control is bad for the local economy.
Welcome to America!
I already came up with Rule 5: Do not try to catch a dropped gun.
But I’ll let you have Rule 6: Maintain control of your firearm
Mentioned them before, but in The City (My The City): Restaurant owner says ‘business exploded’ since welcoming guns
Word is, Blount County Gun Owners will be going there tonight. Not sure I can make it yet.
Linoge takes a look. I’ve always liked the ResQme and have one in each vehicle.
Nada. That’s how many guns gun control types want you to have. Never forget it.
Especially so if you’re particularly stupid about it.
Hey, kids. Get offa my lawn.
I’ve mentioned before about how all the times the feds bust up some alleged terror ring, they’re usually the ones that started it. Now it’s nice to put a number to it: ‘All of the high-profile domestic terrorism plots of the last decade, with four exceptions, were actually FBI sting operations’
Watts ‘supports lethal self defense’ … for left wing liberals
And that Dickinson cat is comedy gold. I wonder if he’s a tea-partier playing a liberal on the internet.
Shotgun suppressors are popular in countries where the safety equipment is not regulated like it’s a machine gun. Not many options in the US but SilencerCo brings us the Salvo:
Unlike the last video I posted that needs slow-mo, this one does not. I’d like to hear it in real time.
You best be good for goodness sake because they haven’t prevented shit: Ars editor learns feds have his old IP addresses, full credit card numbers
Mentioned it before but here’s video of it in action:
Slow down that last little bit and that’d be entertaining to watch.
OK. Politics is showing up. And, also, that NRA’s opponents are so stupid.
Shiloh Brew and Chew in my town says come on in and bring a gun:
“As the owner, I wanted to stand my ground. I have that constitutional right. If you like it, that’s great, if you don’t, I’m sorry for you. I can’t change who I am,” said Sharma Floyd, with Shiloh Brew and Chew.
Floyd said she posted the signs about a month ago after reading a story out of North Carolina.
“They had put up a sign that said ‘No Weapons Allowed’ and they were robbed at gunpoint two days later. The convenience store manager was shot,” said Floyd. “And that got me thinking. I lost a whole group of motorcyclists because they thought I didn’t allow weapons. But I believe it’s ok to carry as long as you have a permit.”
The restaurant does not sell liquor, and Floyd said she asks anyone who orders a beer if they are carrying.
I’ll have to go by Shiloh Brew and Chew and grab a bite some day.
And I bet they save up for some malt liquor too
Tam pretty much dismisses it for the absolute stupidity that it is.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
