So, I voted
I basically voted against every incumbent and voted to replace every judge on the judicial retention ballot.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Sounds reasonable to me; pretty much same-same here.

Out with the old scumbag, in with the new scumbag?

Usually a good system.
August 5th, 2014 at 4:29 pm
Good.
I tend to vote straight-ticket Libertarian these days, so my candidates never win.

Generally what I do too.

We got rid of ours already. Cantor lost the primary so he took his ball and went home. He quit so that he can get a good lobbying job. So…..now my district has NO representation.

That’s what I do too Unc, unless the alternative has a (D)isgusting after their name.
August 6th, 2014 at 6:55 am
I always go no on judicial retention.
August 6th, 2014 at 9:35 am
You voted…..Good

I always vote against the D. The R’s aren’t much better but until we can gets some T’s on the ballot they will have to do.
Otherwise I vote against the current rent seeker over and for the new one hoping it will take at least a term to get the graft running.
I am concerned that the bureaucracies spawned are gaining a life beyond what they should have.
August 6th, 2014 at 5:19 pm
Ah the real problem is mentioned by Paul B. The full time government rule making employee are the one’s we need to get rid of. Cna’t vote them out of a job, have to defund them to stop them.
August 6th, 2014 at 6:35 pm
With no Wookie on the ballot to axe failed bureaucracies with a scythe, how can you go wrong with that?
August 6th, 2014 at 10:37 pm
That’s what I’ve been saying and doing for years. They’ll pay attention when we start voting them out!
August 7th, 2014 at 4:10 am
What Paul B said. The trouble is the Administrative agencies, so I always vote against the incumbent. Living in one of the bluest states full of pinko D’s, it’s easy. I think I might be the only conservative in my town, though.

I voted to replace the Supreme Court Justices.
I voted to retain a couple of Court of Appeals Judges I know and respect.
And I voted for Joe Carr, of course.

Wish I had decent Candidates up here in Ohio come November to do that. Unfortunately, all the Dems are Uber-Liberal Anti-Gunners, and half of the Republitards only care about their Cronies in Big Business, kinda like Putin does.
And ANY Third Party Candidate is LUCKY to get 2% of the Vote, so don’t tell me to “Vote Libertarian for a New America!” My Fellow Voters are so Programmed to Pull either R or D it’s a waste of time.

Gosh, Bubble, help promote the new trend?
August 7th, 2014 at 9:26 pm
I did the same. It’s the reasonable thing to do given the lack of term limits.
