“Well, for me . . . .”
Thank you, postmodernism. You’ve been a big help. Now go sit down and don’t touch anything else.

Lemon might be the stupidest man on cable news but there is so much competition for the title.

“When I went to Colorado, I bought cocaine from the local CVS in about five minutes.”
“Don, you bought aspirin.”
“You’re getting into semantics, Ben. To me, ‘drugs’ is a substance which if you take enough of it you could die.”

His greatest talent is reading out loud. That’s the skill he maxed out. Of course he’s an idiot.

I say he’s clever– now we’re talking about distinctions that have nothing to do with human rights or the second amendment.
Any gun that shoots at all can be used to kill people. “Can fire a number of rounds in a short time” applies to my 1851 Colt Navy percussion six shooter (and it’s a military weapon – that’s right in its name). As soon as we’re talking about THIS gun as having a different legal or moral status from THAT gun, we’ve lost the moral high ground. That happened in 1934.

“You’re getting into semantics here …”
Let’s see: 3. the meaning, or an interpretation of the meaning, of a word, sign, sentence, etc.: “
Well duh, yes he was “getting into semantics”. So Don makes his living using words and he doesn’t know what the words he uses mean? That conversation displayed a lack of understanding of several words.
[rant] I’ve been “accused” of “arguing semantics” myself and it’s about all I can do to not retort: “You damn right I’m arguing semantics you moron — you appear to not know the meaning of the words that just came out of your mouth. I’m not having this conversation just to hear your (or my) voice.”[/rant]
In addition to that: what Lyle said.
