I used a milsurp hospital-grade water bath (that keeps 20 gallons of water and whatever is in it at one set temperature forever) of Korean War vintage, according to the labels, in my Chemistry research lab in the 1980s. I used it for reaction rate studies.
I feel certain I could come up with a legit use for a grenade launcher in my current lab work, too.
Don’t hate they guys who get the strange tools/toys/milsurp, hate the guys who let the military dump ’em from military use.
Who doesn’t need a grenade launcher, is the question. OK, there may be a few champion baseball pitchers who could do without a grenade launcher, but how many people can throw like that?

They are also tear gas launchers, which have a legitimate police role.

Yes. For the coming campus riots that have not occurred since the 1960’s…. I keep forgetting.

As long as I can get a surplus grenade launcher, I’m OK with this.
Oh wait, I can’t …
