They speak English in What?
Tam:
“He’s from Texas, honey,” I yelled at the television, startling the cats, “That’s not ‘armed’, that’s ‘dressed’, you island-dwelling herbivore!”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

That’s not even dressed, it’s just ‘not naked’.
Of course, I have to say it like this:
“Normally I don’t have more than a dozen knives on me.”

I usually have three on me and there are another 4 or 5 in the truck. Never can have to many edges.

This reminds me of the time I went up to Ft Worth to see the Dead Sea Scrolls when they were on display a couple of years ago.
I had my Kershaw Blur clipped in the back pocket of my jeans. While we were waiting for our time to start the tour, one of the armed guards sidles up behind me and asks, “Do you have any other weapons on you besides that knife?” I laughed at him and said, “This is Texas. That’s not a weapon, it’s a tool!”
He laughed nervously and walked away.

Last time I was up at the county courthouse filing some real estate papers with the county clerk, I carefully locked my handgun and pocket knife in the truck in preparation for the security check.
Forgot the tiny folding knife on the keyring.
The officer on metal detector duty laughed as he bagged the keyring with the tiny knife for return upon my exit, saying I was number six of six for the last half dozen through the detector. I not only live in Texas, I live in a great part of Texas.

You mean that there are states where people DON’T have a small knife on their key ring?
Weird…

Always carry 1 CRKT locking folder,2 coldsteel fgx knives(a karambit and a jungle dart, made of fiberglass reinforced plastic) and a ceramic folder.
Only the CRKT is metallic, so you never have to be totally disarmed.
Oh yeah, the karambit is great for opening packages since you can touch up the edge quickly with all kinds of stuff(fingernail file, bottom of your coffee cup, small rasp, etc)

I keep carrying a Bradley Kimura II Balisong. Some people keep telling me it’s illegal in this state, but it’s all stabby and one handed and all. If I need stabby and one handed, I’ll worry about the rest later.
