I am unsurprised that Carter supports the Syrian dictatorship and rails against ISIS. There isn’t a dictator Carter ever met that he hasn’t supported, approved, encouraged or carefully avoided damaging in any way.
I remember the good old days after Carter lost office, when he was still so reviled that he couldn’t attend Democrat conventions. How better the world was with Carter getting rich and building Habitat houses, trying to rehab his reputation, than it is now when he is considered by some fools to be an elder statesman with anything useful to say.
