Some Democrat:

I don’t need a semi-automatic rifle to shoot a duck. Maybe you do. Maybe you should spend more time on your shooting range.

So much ignorance in one statement.

    I mean I’m totaly sure this guy who thinks the proles shouldn’t have such rifles is totally okay with the proles having handguns.

    Well maybe he’s okay with Single Action revolvers. Those don’t fire with every trigger pull.

    …and the article in question uses a photo — of a folding-stock Uzi with a 30-round magazine. This, when the only quote pertaining to guns is about rifles. Lovely. Nice unbiased journalism there, folks.

    Not that the 2nd Amendment is about hunting, but seems every time I watch a duck hunting show on TV the dudes in the blind or boat are all rocking auto-loaders.

    Of course duck hunters tend to use SHOTGUNS not rifles of any sort, but “Progressives” feel they can talk about any subject they know nothing about, including hunting.

    I like how only loading three per waterfowl conservation purposes is conflated with “safety.”

    Does he oppose semi-auto shotguns? I mean, who needs to be able to shoot at a duck three times quickly without reloading…

    Boasting about your shooting ability while simultaneously saying “I know nothing about guns”. Ok…

    But does he really want his message to be “you NEED a semi-automatic rifle if you don’t get out to the range enough.” Fine. I don’t get to shoot that much. There is no way I’m as good as shot as you, Mr. Senator. Now, keep your damn hands off my guns.
