Logic fail
Well, of course, she’s a feminist.
A feminist speaker cancelled her speaking appearance at a university because the university allows permit holders to carry guns there. Because, you know, the guy going to shoot you is likely law-abiding.

Replace her with a KKK operative, and the permit holders with black men, and you get the picture.
She doesn’t want to be around “those people”. There’s also the need to uphold the narrative, so she’ll have to act threatened and play the victim. It’s all quite pathetic.

Talk about logic fail:
“Requested pat downs or metal detectors after mass shooting threat but because of Utah’s open carry laws police wouldn’t do firearm searches.”
Maybe the police said their is no need to search for what is carried openly…

I’m not even a gamer and I know Anita Sarkeesian
This vid pretty much catches her in the act of sensationalist to promote her own little kickstarter thingy. Nothing like a little moral panic to raise funds, eh?
Apparently she needed to shut down comments in every forum she controls to keep a lid on her misrepresentation and a whole lot of 14-year old boys are pretty upset about all that.
I suspect that’s the real reason why she canceled. Canceling because some potty-mouthed teenager is pissed at you doesn’t seem too brave. Besides, she might actually have to take questions from an audience where she can’t pre-screen the questions.
I suppose I ought to give Anita a chance to offer a rebuttal, but I haven’t worked up the enthusiasm to do anything about it. A quick check of her channel seems to show that she’s just turned comments off and ignored any criticism.

Unbelievable! A feminist doesn’t want women to be empowered by the choice to carry the means to protect their bodies against the robber, the rapist or the murderer??!!
