Busybodies
But Matthew is no longer the only one who knows he’s carrying a gun. Recently a sign went up in a front yard across the street from the school. It has Matthew’s picture on it and reads, “This man carries a loaded gun around your children every day.”
“Since we don’t have a way to stop him, we felt it was important to notify the neighborhood and the parents that there is an armed man in their presence,” said Kimberly Edson, a Rochester resident who put the sign up. “The first couple days of school he had it very visible, we saw it and were quite concerned,” she said.
Kimberly Edson should mind her own business.

I agree that Gladys should stop trying to being concerned about what is in Mr. Halleck’s pants, but I do not like where he is taking it either. First, calling the police and now considering a libel* lawsuit. If I were him, I would take a stock photo of a couple of police officers (male and female with a few different colors throw in just to piss off the PC brigades) and post the same message, “These people carry loaded guns around your children every day.”
* Libel for what? What about her sign is incorrect other than assuming he does it every day? If being known for carrying a gun is defaming to you then stop doing it and go cry in a corner.

Agree with Ken. He should put a sign with her picture. This woman house is gun free.

I would rent a billboard and put her address on it with the caption: “Criminals: The family at this address is incapable of resistance.”

Zomg! He is armed!!!!
Sure, everyone else in the neighborhood has a 2,500-7,000 pound vehicle they drive through the streets your child plays in.
But they’re cool; I mean, they didn’t have to pass a background check to get a driver’s license, so…
Yeah, this is literal hoplophobia.

So, she is the civilian counterpart to the IRS; punishing the law-abiding for exercising Rights.

Perhaps other parents should see if he’ll escort their kids too.

I would just put a sign in my front yard with her picture on it and address telling the world come and get it.

He may be able to force her to take down his image, but yes, pay her back in kind; put up a picture of her with her address, and say “come steal my stuff and rape me, I don’t have any way to stop you.” See how long she’ll keep this shit up.

When the school shootings occur, a common denominator is that there’s been no one with a loaded gun to stop the murderer. I suppose this woman likes it that way.

Ron W, that is step “C” in the reasoning process. Ms Edson has demonstrated that she can barely get from A to B. Making the jump to C is like magic.
But yeah, a sign with her picture and address saying she is presumably unarmed in her home would be
reciprocity. That might run afoul of some unknown law pertaining to rape, I don’t know the jurisdiction. Add enough other free speech sentences and it might paralyze the sexist leftists long enough for Edson to get a glimmer and stop this $h1t.
But the basic problem here is the inability to make important and key distinctions, between a gun in the hands of a gangster and a gun in the hands of this law abiding father; between Mack the knife and a surgeon (e.g. Dr. Christiaan Barnard). I’ll bet Ms Edson has knives in her home, and she is neither police nor doctor.
