Not completely true. He worked out a deal on Disorderly Conduct.
So he’s not facing weapons charges, but he willbe doing community service and be under a probationary period, for DC. “DC” is the catch-all “fuck you” charge the government gives you when you are right and they don’t want to be wrong. His lawyer must have told him to suck it and move on.
That said, carrying an AR in an airport terminal was a douche move. Nothing good – for anyone – comes from that.
I say he’s just another drama queen, but even so he shouldn’t have been charged with anything. He broke no laws.

Well seeing as the video didn’t support the police officers’ account of him muzzle sweeping folks, they really couldn’t go to trial.

Was the arrest and publication of his supposed criminality enough to chill the exercise of the right among others?
Or will further measures have to be taken?
