When I was in the Army, the Colt M16s were the absolute worst. The FNs shot better and didn’t feel like you could shake them apart.

Colts never did work well in a desert environment. They can’t tolerate sand.

There is nothing (as has been pointed out) that can’t be replaced on an M4 in a few minutes. Heck you can build one in an afternoon from scratch.

I can build one in 45 minutes from the pins and springs. Sounds like they need more unit level armorer and fewer busy body bureaucrats.
