I kind of wondered that too
Joe:
After all the Ferguson shooting “protests”, property damage, injuries, and general mayhem from all the people coast to coast why aren’t Bloomberg, Moms Demand, The Brady Campaign, and the other violence prevention groups speaking out? They usually are dancing in the blood before it has even had time to cool.

It seems that their silence is approval of the mayhem and violence, but probably disapprove of armed citizens using guns to dissuade it.

A protected class of citizens, i.e., leftist race baiters, is leading the protests that turned into riots.
Can’t be criticizing one’s own team, now, can one?
Plus, defensive use of firearms by citizens is too readily highlighted for any discussion.

Being close to a lost cause (which is not quite true; in the current culture, gun control is only ever in remission, never cured), they’ve probably elected to keep out of this one. Bigger things are at play.
That shouldn’t stop us from pointing out that the entire point of gun control is precisely this: it’s hard to effectively oppose the police state when it’s all there is between you, your children and the pitchforks – er, the next Ferguson.
