Darren Wilson’s gun went click click bang
And there’s a reason for that. I suspected as such but didn’t have a Sig on hand to try it out.

Once again, the concept of Training, and Knowing The Tool You’re Using, rears its ugly head…..I’d be interested to know (although I think I already do) if the PD Wilson worked for covered this in training.

Pure conjecture: do thugs teach each other to intentionally push slide out of battery to neutralize cops’s sidearms?
Are cops taught how to recognize these tactics in their retention drills?

All you have to do if the other guy pushes the slide out of battery is to pull backward and thus move it back into battery.. and shoot as fast as you can.
But.. a Glock or other striker fired guns will need to cycle to re-cock the gun before you can fire it.
Moral of the story.. don’t let bad guys grab your gun, period.

Interesting… just tried this with my 226. Never knew that would happen. Guess I’ve never tried to pull the trigger with the barrel and slide out of battery before.

to clarify, he *claims* his gun went click-click-bang. this wasn’t a jury trial, so there’s no finding of fact and he wasn’t exonerated.

True! And after the cops lied and stated Wilson was beaten to unconsciousness with a dislocated eye socket, then waited 6 days to make a statement, then lied about Brown being 30 feet away when he fell dead 44.6-49 YARDS from Wilson’s feet, I now see why the people are angry. While I do not condone the burning of businesses, or violence, I do now at the very least see why the people there are pissed.
First let me state that I care not that a thug bit the dust, more than likely he would have done more harm in society then good. But based on fact, if someone punched you in your car and ran, then you got out and emptied a clip at 44-49 yards away and they were unarmed it would be more than an indictment for the one pulling the trigger, but at least it makes more sense why he missed him so many times. This was a clear case of officer assassinating a civilian over a bruised ego.
When the police lie multiple times, it is time to closely examine what really happened, and the only way to do that would be for the officer to go to court and let a jury decide.
