Not an automatic – a revolver. Put cartridge in chamber, closed and spun cylinder. Sure happy I don’t have to worry about sharing a highway with him.

There used to be a joke about that. Thanks, J-Schools, for making it not funny anymore. Hope the family sues.

  3. Crunkomatic Says:

Before revolvers, these people were killed trying to wrestle bears and tigers.

  4. Lyle Says:

Journalism strikes again. I think they work deliberately at getting things wrong. It’s all part of spreading irritation and confusion.

  5. mikee Says:

I like to remember errors like this when reading news reports, because if they make such fundamental mistakes about things I know about, why should I trust them when they report on things I don’t know about?

  6. Motor-T Says:

That’s not even a semi-auto. If you look closely, it’s plastic. But not plastic like your M&P.

  7. mikee Says:

The picture is interesting. Click on it. A popup box opens with links to a whole bunch of anti-gun sites.

Journalism with a bias? Nah, just pure coincidence, I’m sure.

  8. Sigivald Says:

I’ve heard of people playing it with automatics; Russian KFOR special forces in Kosovo supposedly did so.

“Badly seat the magazine, pull the handle a few times, click!”

    If you’re lucky, that is.

    (Yes, it’s INSANELY STUPID.)

  9. Deaf Smith Says:

If it goes ‘click’, do you do a tap-rack-bang?

Well, do stupid things, get stupid prizes.

In this case the last prize.

  10. stencil Says:

buh-but wait…. how do you “put a cartridge in the chamber” of a revolver without putting it in the, y’know, cylinder? Maybe he put six snapcaps and a live one in the magazine?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
