Banning toy guns
Some idiot is calling for that. And threatening to boycott companies he’d probably never buy anything from anyway.

There was once a world without guns. It was called the Dark Ages.

From the article:
“Mathews [sic] said at an early age he realized that his gun – a .32-caliber Apache he found unsecured in a house during a robbery – became a vital part of his life…Matthews said he never actually shot anyone, but did point his gun at people to commit robberies and participate in gang-related shootouts…I don’t want guns to be available to those kinds of people. I want to annihilate the tendencies that created that Frank Matthews.”
Isn’t it odd how many criminals are antigun? Then he blames the gun because he became a criminal.

The only sure way to “annihilate the tendencies” is to kill the people who become criminals. Well, maybe that and nuking the site from orbit, if you want to be really, really sure.
A bit harsh, as many tend to grow out of their criminal youth stage to lead productive lives, but scratch a leftist and you almost always find someone willing to commit genocide to accomplish their goals.
