American state legislators for gun violence prevention
Some 200 lawmakers from 50 states have joined the alliance, American State Legislators for Gun Violence Prevention, said the group’s founder, Democratic New York State Assembly member Brian Kavanagh.
4 per state. Oh, dear.
They don’t even have a website that I can find.

Seems they have 199 Democrats and 1 Kansas Republican. This has led them to use the term highly diversified group.

So what? There are 7,383 state legislators. That 200 represents less than 3% of the total. The eight states represented at the news conference have a total of 869 members.
