And quite a few show very safe gun handling. Probably pretty representative of all gun owners. There are still many gun owners who don’t understand that their pew-pew finger should stay off the trigger when not ready to shoot.

When the time comes when it is not necessary to show a staged pictorial series* of “women with guns” as some sort of oddity, and good guys or bad guys alike can just assume that random gals are as likely as not and as likely as random guys to be equipped and prepared to defend? Then we can say we have really won.
*Which is not to say that we can’t enjoy the occasional nekkid gunnie chick from the lense of certain talented photogs…;)

The thing is, even if the gun owners don’t know the bugger hook / bang switch thing, the photographer should insist / only use those proper pictures. To do otherwise, just shows the photographer to be equally without knowledge.
