I read somewhere related to this story (wish I could remember where), that, although this number seems high, it is considerable lower than what they had expected.
You don’t suppose it’s because of the extreme licensing fee, do you? Does any other state charge $150 for a permit to exercise your Constitutional rights? I am only familiar with Utah, and if I remember right, it was somewhere around $50. That’s a little more realistic.
