The attitude of politicians toward the people’s pre-existing right of armed self-defense and the others enumerated in the Bill of Rights is a very good indicator of whether they WILLINGLY understand their SUBSERVIENT role of operating ONLY UNDER DELEGATED POWER. Delegated powers always come DOWN from the greater to the lesser.

At the same time, I was rereading the proposed Toomey Manchin amendment to Schumer’s bill and its really baffling what they thought they were doing.

Manchin is a DemCong who lies to get elected. Once in the Senate he towed the LibCong line. No surprise.

Remind me to never, ever believe that guns are safe with Democrats, period.
Not that I was blindsided by Manchin’s sellout, nor have I ever bought into the notion that there are “pro-gun Democrats”.
But you hear the same nonsense about pro-gun Democrats who run in red or purple states, and it is all lies.
And I don’t trust very many Republicans with guns either.
