Crazy. That looks to me like a tube for the M72 LAW (light anti-tank weapon). It’s a one-shot, one-time, disposable weapon. Once fired, the tube is a nice conversation piece.
As a one-time, long ago, movie reviewer for my college newspaper, hence a real journalist, I confidently identify the two items as an AK47 and a Glock.
Hey, as long as it keeps working for them they’ll keep doing it. Six months of responsible journalism in this country would put a permanent and nation-wide stop to this sort of thing. But narrative.
One is given to wonder though, how many cops and F-Troopers are retarded enough to think that a spent LAW is a big deal, or if they all know that they or their associates playing a ruse. It’s one or the other and neither is good (they’re either evil or retarded, or tolerating evil, or all three) and so it seems to me that they should all be replaced. Except for the F-Troopers. They should all be sent packing and never replaced.

Not only is it empty and inert, but it’s also upside down.
Reminds me of the cops with the upside down magazines and backwards holo sights.

Got this particular PSH out of the way early this year; it’s usually reported in the spring/summer when Gun Buyback season really gets rolling.

If this is WMD, somebody owes George W. Bush an apology.

I could be wrong. On second look, it is an AR47 and a Glock.

Dave says, “If this is WMD, somebody owes George W. Bush an apology.”
But first, GW owes an apology for watering down NBC into WMD.

Maybe they thought the tube belonged to a servant of Landru?

Well, it took about seven months, but someone finally beat the Knoxville Police Department in this category of stupid.
Be warned, in Knoxville calling the police is a valid excuse to be beaten by your attacker if the attacker feels threatened by the phone.

rickn8or, I have a gun buyback program going on. Not related to my earlier comment, yet.

I have one of those “WMDs” at home.
I guess I could hurt someone with it, if I used it as a club?
Maybe?

OMG… The tweet also included a shot of a black handgun with five rounds.
The horrors! It’s a,uh a, Jennings WMD!
And yes, a spent LAW.
Zzzzzzz…

Sigvald, you’d probably do more damage with a whffle-ball bat. (Mostly due to the better grip.)
