It’s here

Here’s the actual incident:
Here’s the aftermath. Blew the baffles down range and the tube a a few feet:
District court rules that the ban on interstate transfers through a dealer is unconstitutional. At issue is whether a Texas firearms dealer can transfer a handgun to a DC resident. Someone familiar with the case has a round up of links.
Can you purchase from out of state FFLs now? I wouldn’t bet on it.
.327 Federal: The little cartridge that couldn’t. Of course, I am thinking of getting a revolver and it would be introducing a new round into the rotation so either that or .357 would work. But, man, I hate taking on new calibers.
A man is facing manslaughter charges after shooting a stove full of the stuff and the shrapnel from it killed a child.
I’m not versed in the rules of blowing stuff up safety.
Legislator wants to violate the constitution of the US and TN by making the Bible the official state book.
After any shocking news event, particularly a shooting, everything that comes out for the first few hours is substantially wrong. This morning, it was “white guy kills three muslims!” Then it was “atheist progressive Rachel Maddow loving liberal kills three muslims!”
But it turns out to likely be a dispute over parking.
Hey, that’s my meme!
Police officers, military service members and armed security guards would not have to go through background checks to purchase guns in Washington state, under a series of bills debated in Olympia Monday.
Or so says the Attorney General. Additionally, there is no appropriate license to make it legal. This affects Tannerite too, apparently.
A proposal for a sales tax free day to buy hunting stuff.
There are other gun bills as well, which, as always, ruffles Tom Humphrey’s feathers. Some highlights include:
Removing a city’s ability to ban guns in parks
Civil injunctions for employers that fire employees for having guns in their cars
Removing the crime of having a gun locked in your car on school property
Getting rid of TICS checks for those with carry permits
Justaguy in comments gives me something to ponder:
To all of those that condone that “not on my team” idiolatry (sp? because its not actually even a word)
I have always found it slightly enraging to see the foolish continue to be foolish.
Out of one side of your heads you scream “why can’t we win the way liberals do” and then on the other side of your head you scream “this guy is not at conservative / normal / L33T as me.”
This inherent arrogance and silly myopia is WHY you can’t win. You’re so busy living on your self built pedestal that you can’t seem to all understand that movement happen in groups, groups of all kinds.
Liberals have learned long ago the secret to wining in masses:
1) Ignore your fringe, but do not disenfranchise them. (read faragon, team sharon, your local commie)
2) Never apologize but never accept, employ a healthy amount of cognitive dissidence.
3) If all else fails, give lame excuse for them and then focus on your opponents less savory folks. (e.i. “well sure he is a bit wacky but his hearts in the right place and besides look at that guy you have on your side who is a criminal, at least this guy isn’t a felon”)
4) Push the mainstream message, drive the more extreme agenda…. (i.e. “we don’t want to ban guns we just want to ban your guns” “we don’t want to regulate the internet, we just want to make sure that your internet is free of evil with “”neutrality”” then turn around and ban guns and regulate the internet like its a “wireless service”… read tax the hell out of it and sell blocks of near limitless ipv6 space for billions
If you want to win, play by the same rules. This isn’t a friendly competition, these folks are the KKK of gun rights, THEY WILL put a burning cross in your front yard…. and by burning cross i mean SWAT teams that will come and shoot your dog because you new rifle has heatshield wrapped around the barrel.
In WA, a group plans to do just that:
We’ve seen rallies and demonstrations against Washington’s new voter-approved background check law. But now a gun rights group is planning a “we will not comply” gun show.
It’s dubbed the Arms Expo. It’s scheduled for the weekend of June 20 in the Yakima area at a location yet to be announced. A website bills the event as a gun show and “patriot campout for the whole family.”
And it promises “no background checks, no paperwork, no infringement.”
“We will be exercising what I would refer to as constitutional sales where there’s no background check of any sort,” organizer Sam Wilson said.
So, it will be all individuals and no dealers? Else they run afoul of federal law.
Man stops robbery with his taser. Gets arrested on felony weapons charge.
Well, if someone is busting in my door at zero dark thirty, they’re probably getting shot. The State:
A criminal trial expected to be closely watched by law enforcement and gun owners around South Carolina opens Monday in federal court in Columbia.
At issue: whether Joel Robinson, 32, is guilty of a crime for shootinga DEA agent in the first few seconds of a surprise federal law enforcement raid last October at his Orangeburg house.
Agents expected to find a cache of drugs, but a search of the premises found nothing but a small amount of marijuana for recreational use, according to legal records in the case.
Robinson is expected to claim self-defense, saying he did what any citizen would have in assuming he was the target of a home invasion – grabbing a gun and firing a half-dozen shots in the direction of those he assumed were home invaders.
But the person struck by a Robinson bullet was DEA agent Barry Wilson, one of more than a dozen law officers surrounding the house. The bullet broke bones in Wilson’s right elbow and forearm. His recovery likely will take more than a year and he is expected to lose some use of that arm, according to testimony in a pretrial hearing.
Bloomberg: No second amendment rights for blacks.
It’s all about protecting wealthy, white people.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
