…what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
“The controversial bill is causing quite a stir among the public.”
I’ve seen no evidence of a “public stir” on this issue except among the media.
“Many concealed carry permit owners believe this legislation will endanger the lives of law abiding residents, because the law will not require gun owners to go through safety courses prior to owning the gun.”
There is zero evidence showing that government mandated training has any effect on violent crime or negligent gun accidents.
“The bill to abolish the concealed carry permit is waiting for the governor’s signature of approval before it becomes a law.”
This bill wouldn’t abolish the concealed carry permit. It would only remove the permit requirement to carry. There will still be permits issued to people who want one for out of state carry.
So, all told, the only (maybe) true thing in the story is some dude named Rick’s opinion. I hope Liana Charles didn’t go into debt getting the education that enabled her to produce this glittering jewel of colossal ignorance.
I think that was spam. It makes no reference to anything on any subject. It’s universal. Stick in comments in any post on any site and watch the boobs respond.
Anyway; “I believe that everyone should be required to spend money on my industry” is what I read.
Ordinarily I’d be advocating here, wondering why all the people who don’t own or carry should be able to escape basic safety training — but then you get to thinking, at different times the public educators have had a go at religion, driving, and sex. Look how that turned out. Common Core is no way to get your gun training, son.

@Lyle
Surely you know SgtRed is quoting a scene from Billy Madison…
It’s a perfectly relevant response to the drivel in the link, which is why you see it used so often.

I think Kathy Jackson says it best about why required traing is objectionable.
