Municipalities do not and should not have discretion re: violating the Tennessee Constitution’s Declaration of Rights. The people of Tennessee have a right to keep and carry the means of self defense according to Article I, Section 26 of the State Constitution. For those so-called “liberals” and “progressives”, what other rights should be discretionary for cities to violate?
