Why are anti-gun activists so violent?
A young, social justice warrior threatened to go on a murderous rampage at a school.

“…cited Young’s reputation of being anti-gun, anti-violence and anti-bullying…”
Those things are always smokescreens, and they indicate violent tendencies. Rather than cite those things as mitigating, I would see them as exacerbating.

Anti-gunners want someone else to impose their agenda on others which, if their victims are not compliant, necessitates the use of force, by guns. So it’s not much of a stretch if one of them occasionally takes the same action themselves.

Ron W; precisely. It’s a difference between the wholesale level and individual retail level, but either way it’s the initiation of force.
This point has subtleties to it that few understand or can face. The Progressives NEED more school shootings and the like, and so they must rely on their pawns out there to provide for them. Public education paired with psychology, drug laws, prescription psychoactives, et al, provide the sense of dependency, angst, feelings of “disenfranchisement”, anger, hate, fear and so on, combined with the violence and the obsession with pleasure depicted in entertainment. It’s post hypnotic suggestion. We are in fact living among zombies.
It’s taken an enormous effort and a lot of time to degrade America to this level, so I believe that the Progressive (incremental communist) movement is extremely vulnerable. It is a very high-maintenance, high-cost organization, consisting of a loose coalition of disparate interests.

Yes, Lyle, violent crime has been on a long decline, documented by the government’s own statistics, as more and more States have enacted citizen gun carry laws and gun ownership has increased. School shootings are one of the few aspects of violence that have increased over the same period being aided and abetted by government imposed gun-free zones. Otherwise, very well said and I couldn’t agree more.
