I’m a fundamentalist Christian, one of the fundamentals being Liberty: “…where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty” ( II Corinthians 3:17) and “Stand fast therefore in the Liberty with which Christ has made us free” ( Galatians 5:1) That being so, I consider myself a Christian libertarian and constitutionalist so I oppose such bills. Our State and Federal government’s should be constrained to do only those things for which they have delegated powers. Things like this should be limited to resolutions, perhaps at the end of legislative sessions, if at all.

On the plus side, crap like this means they arent spending the time to add another tax or spend more money.

These dumbfounded dipshits all go to be fresh faced legislatards with the promise of passing new laws of one sort or another. What I’d like to see, fantasy though it may be, is a law passed by a legislature requiring two old laws to be repealed before any new one is eligible for passage.
