Good! That was his duty, precisely pursuant to Article I, Section 26 of the Tennessee Constitution’s Declaration of Rights. Thank you, Governor Haslam.

I am honestly shocked he did it, especially since the speaker of the house waited until 3 days before the legislature adjourned before she signed it and sent it to the senate.

  3. Old NFO Says:

    That’s good news for Tenn!

  4. Mr Evilwrench Says:

I’d still object to the wandering victim disarmament zones that can sneak up and ambush you. These dumbfounded dipshits can’t, or refuse to understand that if someone is intent to cause havoc, the rules are irrelevant, and a sheepdog might just be the thing to have around.

Good news indeed. I also am frankly surprised he signed it, what with the vague “close proximity” language added. I guess we’ll have to see what the first prosecution under that provision to see what the meaning of “close” is.

Paging Mr. Embody, Mr. Leonard Embody to the white courtesy phone…

Luckily there’s a section in the new law that says you haven’t committed a crime until you’re aware you’re in one of those no go zones and then refused to vacate the area

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
