Church of swing
That swingers club that the party of smaller government was trying to put out of business because it was too close to a school has now decided to be a church:
It will now open as the United Fellowship Center, a house of unorthodox religious worship. The dance floor is now a “sanctuary.” The dungeon is now a choir room. And dozens of small, private spaces have been designated “prayer rooms.” The United Fellowship Center has even gotten a city permit to meet as a church

We should do the same sort of thing for gun ranges and clubs.

Wouldnt work, Indiana and the public response make clear that church protections (and, I fear, religious liberty in general) are only effective if your religion supports the correct ideas.
A church of guns sounds a lot like the portrayal of WACO, no? It would by the time twitter got done with it.

Brothers and sisters, will we be seeing you this week for Firing Rites at your local Reform Temple of Our Prophet John Moses Browning (piece be upon him), or will you be Seeking The Mysteries by individual devotionals?
I enjoin you all to remember to partake of the Sacrament of Reconfiguration, at least annually if not more often according to your spiritual needs. I’ve done mine quite recently, and not only was my soul uplifted, but I got that light and AFG on the rails in a manner pleasing to the eye and a joy to hold.
Yea, I say unto thee, may our Prophet’s beneficence come upon you as a brass shower, belt without end. I bless you now in the way that our Prophet directed: Ready on the right; Ready on the left; The line is ready; Open Fire!

As Phil always says when we are at the range on a Sunday, “The church of the holy high speed projectile.”

There is solid reason to think that this is indeed, a Church.
Just drop in an listen to the parishioner’s cries of “Oh God!, OH GOD!” in the midst of their ministrations.

@Jim, this is very true.
There is a club of this type in Redmond Washington I have been to which claims some sort of connection to Wicca. We just went the one time and didn’t see anything that appeared to be regilous/spirtual. But to the best of my knowledge they didn’t make that claim because of zoning issues or anything like that.
