Inside the mind of an anti-gunner
Instructor says that college carry will lead to people with guns getting better grades. Because she’s nuts.

People who legally carry concealed weapons with licenses are universally over 21 years of age, non-criminals, who are responsible enough and competent enough to complete the legal requirements to get the license.
This alone makes them more likely to succeed in college courses than your average stoner 18 year old, away from home for the first time, partying Thursday night to Sunday morning and skipping classes due to sleeping in until noon.
So while my brain hurts to do so, I agree with the anti-gunner that concealed carriers will do better than average in their college courses. Just not for the reasons listed by that bigot.

If I was carrying concealed in her class, how would she even KNOW about it?
Clearly, she is unfamiliar with logic….must be a journalism prof.

mikee and Doc made my points. Most of the people I deal with never know I’m armed.
The poor college instructor seems to think only in terms of intimidators and the intimidated – bullies and cowards, each bully being a coward before stronger bullies and each coward being a bully before weaker cowards. That’s the authoritarian system, and colleges and universities operate within that system (along with governments and crime gangs).
That there is a whole world outside of that system never seems to occur to some people. That authoritarians rely on that “invisible” world for their sustenance is something they can never afford to acknowledge, for it invalidates their entire system.

The minimum age varies by state; my son had his license at 18. He just has to mooch my ammo for a couple more years. He’s a fluffy sheepdog, though, with very good judgement.
