Sad day. Engineering development costs LOTS of money… unless you have pre-paying customers, heavy-duty financial backers or government subsidies, it’s hard to start an engineering-heavy business these days.

So will this business, like Iridium satphones by Motorola, be bought for pennies on the dollar by the US military? Or will it be allowed to wither away on the vine completely?

tough business. i imagine they can’t export, that there’s low interest from the military, and it’s at a price point beyond what would be paid by their target demographic (weak shooters without money or interest in practice).

Frankly,
I am on the fence about this situation. For one you have a terrible website that is so poorly executed that it makes it impossible to actually purchase the device. Then of course there is the silliness of having to by overpriced ammo for an overpriced gun, all wrapped in an overpriced processor.
But then again its a really cool system.
start over and sell a upper with a trigger kit option (maybe even some type of drop in system that uses an ar lower or something cool like that). Make it less expensive, and design some type of system that provides the ability to use any ammo.
Finally, make it possible to kit the thing (even extensive amounts of zeroing and adjusting would be OK)
