Public Shaming
My Mrs. was nice enough to take Non Tactical Car to the car wash. I asked to make sure she removed my arfcom BFL magnet before going through. She did. But put it on wrong and now it’s stuck. Any ideas?

Try gently sawing under an edge with dental floss.

that could work. Something fine you can get under the edge and then pull it up. Dental floss is pretty tough.

Is the cam pin jammed?

Just executing a tactical reposition, firing from a ninja inspired hold. Anyway, maybe a little light heat to loosen it up?

A good sharp hatchet will take it right off. : )

Use a credit card to lift a corner. Heat might help too.

Have you tried slamming it into the ground while pulling on the handle?

Get a corner up and spray soapy water down behind it.

Trade the non-tac for an H1, then you won’t need no steenkin’ sticker to be all tactikewl…

Tell everyone it’s Stag’s new left-handed upside-down upper, inspired by the shooting style of Liberian revolutionaries.

The laws of physics may be your friend here. Get a strong bar magnet and either A) use it to attract an edge of the decal away from the car or B) put it on the other side of the sheet metal [if you can] to repel the decal away from the car (like poles oppose).

Replace it with a proper Mosin-Nagant bolt face.

Garage compressor air nozzle. 100psi should lift an edge.

Just go to the nearest self serve carwash, dump in the quarters and put the high pressure nozzle on soapy water and have at it. The hot spray should take it off, once you get any flap raised the rest will just work it’s way in.

Just a thought: Do you have a pressure washer with a wide nozzle? Back off about a foot, trigger it and move in towards an edge till you see it lift.

You did say it was a magnet didn’t you?

WD-40. Spray around the edges stuff gets between anything.

Have Mrs. take non-tac to carwash again.

Flip the car upside down!

Fire up the flux capacitor and have the decal repel the car.

I’d try slipping some shim stock or a cut up pop can under it. Dull the edges with a little emery cloth to avoid scratches.

I would say it’s time to delegate authority for removal and proper installation to better half.
On the other hand, dental floss and WD40 (or silicone spray) could be a quick fix.

If you can find a proper ground, plasma cutter should work.
Or floss.

You could just buy another one and laminate it on top of the old one with some Gorilla Glue. But be sure and check the headspace after.

Hmm, you could just tell people that it represents an AR rotated to use the offset BUIS, yes?

What Will said.
It’s an icon, not an actual bolt *in* a gun, with the handle facing up.
It’s fine.

Not being an AR owner, never having fired one, never having taken one apart nor reassembled one, correctly or like a Bubba, I read way too many comments before getting the joke.
And any magnetic decal will come off at speeds around 200mph.
