Well, hearing stuff like this is encouraging. It is not unlike the waves of gun buying that occurs when there is concern about new restrictions. This shows a large group of people willing to engage in civil disobedience to defy what they consider an unconstitutional infringement of their rights.
When you have massive noncompliance not just among the citizenry, but among sheriffs who are in theory supposed to be enforcing it, I’m not sold they’ll shoot for an election season sweep.
Still, no one ever went broke underestimating a politician’s intelligence.

It’s more like 99%+. The figure the media quotes came from NSSF which is likely lowball.

So this law is still on the books, right? And available for any person to get a noncompliant gun owner investigated and arrested at any time, right?
I see a wave of highly publicized assault rifle arrests coming at a politically opportune moment before the next elections.
