Before the black civil rights movement was sucessfully hijacked by Progressives, the Rev. Dr. MLK Jr. was advocating joining the NRA and carrying a gun. Love and “Non violence” is a great plan, but it only goes so far and only works when the servants of the Dark Side have some deterrence hanging over their heads. Big, tough KKK goons don’t want to get shot any more than anyone else, and they started getting a little shy when black people showed up to their would-be lynchings carrying guns.

This, by the way, is precisely why “gun control” laws became so popular among the Progressives; they wanted to control black people.

LBJ took care of the “problem” by offering government largess in return for votes for Democrats, and a lot of black Americans have been stuck on that Democrat vote-buying Plantation ever since, much to their un-doing. Before that, most self-respecting black Americans tended to vote Republican.

I can’t disagree with what the man said – but it would be nice to see some of those figures broken down per capita.
