Yeah, he’s too busy making decisions to appease the intolerant bigots by removing the statue of Gen Nathan Bedford Forrest from the State Capitol grounds. That’s the Gen Forrest who had free black men in his regiment and worked to elevate and integrate black people into Southern society.

Of course, the following quote from Forrest would not endear him to this present pro-slavery administration:

“Any government which fears arms in the hands of its people should also fear the rope.”– Gen Nathan Bedford Forrest
