Sadly, my kids are now adults and no longer live at home, leaving me no defensible excuse to create such a thing, except for the pleasure of its use in my not-yet-announced second childhood.
And there are no grandkids in the immediate offing.
So I shall remain un-nerfed for the immediate future.
The problem with this is that it doesn’t do anything for the internals; you’re looking at stock springs, plungers, and seals. With the same air-flow restrictors and mechanical locks as anything you’d get off the shelf. Also, almost all of those battle attachments will only reduce performance further… It’s a unareodynamic bit of foam being blown forward by a puff of air. No deflagrating powder building up pressure behind a projectile sealed against a rifled barrel. It’s an inefficient foam blow gun. You want a /shorter/ barrel not a longer one.
If you want to make your Nerf blasters really shine, skip these. Grab your screwdriver, open ‘er up, and get to work. Check out the videos on YouTube by “Lord Draconical” or “Coop772,” you’ll be amazed by what a dedicated Nerf hobbyist can come up with just by adding a little bit of silicone tape, some grease, and a new spring. Grab some of the custom milled parts from Orange Mod Works (google it) and hoo-boy.

One of the stocks they offer is a single-shot blaster in its own right.
“Yo dawg…”
