Pretty expensive for frying eggs. But science!
Drama aside, I don’t think I would be using vegetable oil for lubricating machines. Makes a good varnish or paint though.

20 weight SAE is plenty cheap, and is the main ingredient in most firearm lubes.
Google up Ed’s Red sometime.
I brew up a gallon of Ed’s Red every couple of years. Only problem is that it will only store in glass, it wrecks metal solvent cans and any sort of spritzer bottle I have tried. It is the real methyl-ethyl badshit.
