Well, I wish this came out before I bought that M&P Shield
I’ve yet to own a gun in that caliber (primarily because taking on a new caliber is expensive) but I’m oddly fascinated by it. And it holds six.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

At NRAAM the Ruger guy told me an LCR or SP101 in .327 Federal would have to have a 3″ barrel.
I like the idea because it will handle several other calibers, and, as Tamara pointed out somewhere along the line, its a good caliber for a snubby, which makes it a good bedside gun.

…and still no levergun in .327 Federal, unless Henry just birthed one. This cartridge is a natural for a levergun. Looking at Buffalo Bore’s 130-gr hardcast round, if you extrapolated their ballistics chart upward another 100 FPS to account for a carbine-length barrel, you would be getting into the mid-900s for muzzle energy, and around 500 #/ft at 150 yards!

I wish they would have scaled it down even smaller and made it five shot. Would be a great pocket gun. I think as-is it’s still slightly too large for that. (at least for me)
Oh and a me-too on wanting the lever action.

This is a nice round for the GP100 and the spouse loves it. She doesn’t have the strength for a semi-auto and the weight of the GP tames the pop handily.

My wife likes the look of that one.

Sounds like Ruger listened to Caleb
