Bloomberg trying to buy Virginia
By, interestingly, not focusing on the gun issue. Likely because he knows it’s a loser.

Red dots vs. lasers for self defense pistols.
I have both. And like both. I have two carry guns with lasers, one red and one green. The green is better in the day time because it’s easier to see than a red laser. The red dot, to me, is also easier to see in the daylight. I do favor the red laser at night, though.
One more advantage of the laser is as a training aid. Find a shooter who has never shot with a laser before and let them try out your laser equipped gun. They’ll realize exactly how much that red dot on the wall sways and moves up and down.
He says he’s not going to take your guns away. Just ban you being able to obtain anymore that he thinks aren’t appropriate.
Meanwhile, there are fewer gun crimes prosecuted under Obama than Bush. Well, that could make some sort of sense, after all. We have had some court cases striking down certain gun laws.
Justice Kennedy: The New York Times Was Incensed Their Little Monopoly to Affect Our Thinking Was Taken Away
Sorry, Les, but you’re wrong. There is another one:
Knock, knock
Who’s there?
I ate mop
I ate mop who
LOL you ate your poo
Another joke that doesn’t translate well when written.
And, also, not particularly bright:
Youre those fucking people that put guns in the hands of killers. Guns dont save lives, gun kill people, you stupid fuck.
No, fuck you. Are you going to fucking shoot me? Heres a better idea, you sick fuck: Why dont you shoot yourself!
These look pretty neat. Sadly, I could never use them. I have this weird thing where I can taste metal that’s touched metal. If my fork touches my knife, I can tell.
Having an ID violates his religious principles. Need an ID to peaceably assemble, vote, get a job, and more. This could be interesting.
Good:
The next time something like this happens, they’re gonna refer to it, Merideth said about future cases involving drones. Now I don’t encourage people to just go out and start blasting stuff for no reason – but three times in one day, three times over the course of a year, six times total, over one property? That’s not right, that’s harassment.”
NRA ILA: California: County Sheriffs Sue Los Angeles over Ordinance Prohibiting Possession of Large-Capacity Magazines. More:
Now, 30 duly elected California Sheriffs, two law enforcement organizations, the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA), and several other individuals have filed a lawsuit seeking to invalidate the ordinance. The lawsuit challenges the magazine possession ban on legal preemption grounds, because California state law specifically allows for the possession of such magazines.
Ladd is butthurt that suppressors are becoming popular and the market is responding.
I guess the reporter didn’t get the memo that a self-loading, politically incorrect rifle belongs to the police, it’s a “patrol rifle“: Officer loses assault rifle while changing flat tires
Shorter WaPo: No real relationship between carrying guns and crime, so you’re wrong to support it.
Plaintiffs challenging a so-called gun violence tax recently passed by the Seattle City Council have today filed a motion for summary judgment in their lawsuit, citing Washington States long-standing preemption statute which fully occupies and preempts the entire field of firearms regulation within the boundaries of the state. The motion was filed in King County Superior Court.
Except that headline isn’t reality (“journalism”), what Chucky wants is:
. . . that contract to include two safety provisions the winning bidder must develop “smart gun” technology, and must cut off business ties with the “1 percent” of gun dealers that sell guns to criminals.
Also, SJW FIGHT!!!:
Australian-born feminist Germaine Greer accused Glamour of misogyny in its decision to award Jenner its woman of the year award, noting that transgender women are not women and do not look like, sound like or behave like women.
DOJ closes investigation of IRS targeting people who are not democrats. No one getting charged.
And if you think Hillary’s email issues will result in something different, I’ve got news for you.
Headline: New laws force police to put guns back on the street
What really happened is that some states realized they could earn some extra police money by selling perfectly good commodities to the public.
The media is welcoming the fact the Democrats spent a few minutes during their debate discussing who wanted to ban guns and civil liberties more. During lunch today with some guys from LuckyGunner, we discussed this very thing. In the last few elections, the talk from the dems was “we respect your second amendment rights but . . .” and now, they seem to be embracing gun control. I pondered if it was because big money guys like Bloomberg had them convinced it was a popular thing or they were just whoring for the money.
At least they’re discussing it openly. Should make for an interesting election.
The NRA is standing behind a bill that would eliminate the $200 tax on suppressors and require buyers to go through a background check.
If we regulated cars like we did guns, everyone would have to drive with hearing protection on.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
