Seems he drew his gun on crowd of people at a football game, after beating a man.

Here’s an odd little nugget…having been out of the FFL biz since selling my shop in ’05 and having had exactly two on-site ATF inspections in the preceding 27 years, I was a little taken aback this year when in the process of taking over friend Tom’s pawn & gun store so he could return to active sheriff’s duty, I found that all new and renewing FFL’s now require upfront interviews and on-site visits at least once per year…certainly wasteful and annoying regs.
But the big surprise was in learning that these “enforcement” agents are unarmed and not allowed to be armed while criss-crossing the state and visiting the various dealers within their territory. Huh. Seems counterintuitive, strange, and even potentially dangerous.
But given the behavior of the particular agent in this story and the sanctioned activities of some others in the news, maybe that unarmed policy should be expanded agency-wide.

Sounds like he’s trying to get a job at the Canton, Ohio Police Dept.
