Reminder: Check your gear
So, today was a nice, warm day. I was outside at a job site when I felt something in my shoe. It drove me batty. So, I removed my shoe and found this:
I knew what it was immediately. The little rubber spacer thing that goes on the nuts and bolts of my Raven Concealment rig:
Yup, I should probably snug up all of my holsters hardware. And get some Loctite.

If it’s screw and gun related, it gets loctite. End of story.
You would be shocked at how many guns fall apart at classes where you do something beyond malfunction clear and stand on the line. Shotgun classes at the best for this. I’ve seen entire stocks work themselves off.

Use the blue 242, or 243 LockTite.
Those aren’t ‘permanent’, but are strong enough to keep screws from backing out. And you can (with some effort) still unscrew things so you can replace worn parts.

Careful application of MEK or PVC “glue” will allow the welding of Kevlar to itself. In case you need to do that.
