“In addition Byrd has talked about expanding liability coverage paid by gun vendors to protect the city in the event that crimes — including homicides — originate from guns purchased at gun shows at Nashville’s fairgrounds.”
Will the same policy be applied to all the restaurants and bars selling alcohol in Nashville when someone leaves in a “buzzed” condition and does damage, injures or kills someone in a DUI?
Freedom of Assembly – I recall that being written somewhere important.
And since there is no liability upon a legal seller of a firearm, (or a car, or an axe), once sale to a legal purchaser has occurred, for the actions of that new owner, the expanded liability coverage would be impossible to obtain – nobody sells insurance for that. Hence it is simply an undue burden on the exercise of a right.
Sue these bastards for violation of rights. Ask for money. Lotsa money.
