The price of a custom 1911

Yup.
But with the plastic gun you’ll NEED $2K worth of ammo, whereas you’ll only need one round with that 1911.
No one has ever asked to see or shoot my plastic guns at the range
And I (purely subjectively) hate the triggers on all those plastic guns.
Hunnert years from now nobody’s gonna be custom building no bespoke “2015” and marveling that it’s really no better than the original.
To me, “plastic” gun says it all; Cheap crap. All steel for Mama Huck’s boy.
Bespoke demonstrates the taste and class of the owner, not the quality of the bespoke item, which is a given.
I understand why somebody would spend that kind of money for a 1911. But that somebody won’t be me.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
