Chad, you nailed it. The Federal government’s own data proves that criminal “gun violence” has steadily declined since the early nineties. At the same time gun ownership and particularly State gun carry laws have been liberalized. The only other laws were Federal gun free zones which has facilitated a rise in those shootings. You’re correct, those shootings are their only pretext for gun control.
