Well, I suppose it would be a good muzzle brake if it was a bit longer, like 9 inches or so, and the brake channels weren’t just holes drilled through, but a bit more rectangular. Really, just square those circles up.
Obviously, any accessory you put on the sides would get a lot of blast, so all you could really put on there is rail covers. And the normal kind won’t work, so you’d need some specialty rail covers, maybe two layers of sheet metal with offset venting holes and a silicone outer layer to protect against burns…
