It’s salon. It’s where the elementary-school-mentality segment of those hopelessly out of touch with reality go to label themselves so we know who they are.
White men are approximately 30 percent of the population but account for 60 percent of the mass shootings.
Just about every mass shooting is by a man, and given that 63% of the population is white, it appears that “whiteness” has absolutely nothing to do with mass shootings.
Hmmm. And I says to myself, “Who is this Chauncey Devega?” I’m not a real give-a-sh*t” kind of guy but thought I’d check. A quick search finds his web site where he terms himself “political essayist, educator, cultural critic, and ghetto nerd”. In other words, a societal leech. Nuff said.
I can only hope that articles such as this one will reinforce the fear in urban dwellers that rural areas of this nation harbor nothing but terrifying danger.
Yeah, nothing to see here but meth labs and heavily armed crazed, wild-eyed fat white guys as far as the eye can see. Stay the F–K in the city of your choice.
I find it also funny how the article decries “white men” in the antebellum south for passing what was considered at the time to be “common sense gun legislation”, depriving the newly-freed slaves of their right to self-defense whilst in almost the same breath, criticizing the NRA of blocking “common sense gun safety” measures.
Excellent point, Ferretq. And part of the majority opinion reasoning in the 1857 SCOTUS Dred Scott decision keeping black people as slaves in ALL of the United States, was that if they were persons under the Constitution, then” they could go armed everywhere they went.” Disarming people and keeping them that way is a chief aspect of slavery down through history. And NOW, it’s obvious who wants to bring back slavery.

I don’t know that I’ve seen that much crap assembled in one place since my family stopped raising cattle.

I should know better than to follow a link to Salon, I always feel dumber afterwards.
