Posing the question to those that own guns but don’t carry them: How would you carry?
Anti-gun activists shoots a student in the head.
And Snoop Dogg might not be the best choice for an anti-gun campaign.
Like Tam, I discovered on facebook that people hate daylight saving time. You know, I can see that for people in other time-zones. But here, on EST and living an hour away from the switch to central, I find it quite nice.
That cool engine sound in your mustang is fake. As technology gets better and engines get quieter, people apparently miss engine sounds. Now, if we could get the .gov out of the engine business . . .
I have my doubts. Everyone knows people who lawfully carry guns are just itching to shoot someone.
The Sneaky Pete Pholster. A holster for your phone.
Instant Concealment Converter Holster Kit. I don’t get it.
And don’t leave a loaded Glock in a purse that’s full of stuff:
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office officials say a woman was shot in both legs and her boyfriend shot through his hand after her gun went off in her purse Saturday afternoon.
Lt. Phillip Young said the woman’s Glock went off while the couple sat in a vehicle outside a residence in the 1400 block of Virgil H. Goode Highway in Bassett about 3:30 p.m. The man, who was in the driver’s seat, put a drink can in the woman’s purse before putting his hand on her leg .
“[The bullet] went through his hand, through one of her legs near the knee area and then hit her other knee,” Young said. “Her pocketbook was full of stuff. It’s hard to say what made it go off.”
Yeah, our Regulation Guide saying ATF has already banned green tip, we didn’t mean it and we meant to follow the law:
Media reports have noted that the 2014 ATF Regulation Guide published online does not contain a listing of the exemptions for Armor Piercing Ammunition, and concluding that the absence of this listing indicates these exemptions have been rescinded.
Please be advised that ATF has not rescinded any Armor Piercing Ammunition exemption, and the fact they are not listed in the 2014 online edition of the regulations, was an error, which has no legal impact on the validity of the exemptions. The existing exemptions for armor piercing ammunition, which apply to 5.56 mm (.223) SS 109 and M855 projectiles (identified by a green coating on the projectile tip), and the U.S .30-06 M2AP projectile (identified by a black coating on the projectile tip), remain in effect.
The listing of Armor Piercing Ammunition exemptions can be found in the 2005 ATF Regulation Guide on page 166, which is posted here.
The 2014 Regulation Guide will be corrected in PDF format to include the listing of Armor Piercing Ammunition exemptions and posted shortly. The e-book/iBook version of the Regulation Guide will be corrected in the near future. ATF apologizes for any confusion caused by this publishing error.
Well, you could call the cops. And call your lawyer. And wait for both to arrive before speaking.
Or you could haul the dead body to your lawyer’s office:
A southwest Florida man put his dead neighbor in the bed of his pickup truck and drove to his lawyer’s office claiming he’d killed the man in self-defense.
Attorney Robert Harris told the News-Press of Fort Myers that 52-year-old John Marshall showed up around 4 p.m. Wednesday, saying he didn’t know who else to trust.
Seriously?
I thought they were those guns that loon in Cali said were made by computers. But it turns out they’re also guns without serial numbers. Narrative!
Were the Nazi’s (the National SOCIALISTS) Socialist? I mean, the called themselves The National Socialist German Workers’ Party, which has a few socialist buzzwords in it (including socialist).
From Bloomberg. They’ve got money but no grassroots. The money, however, is a problem.
First it was that gun ownership was on the decline. But those darn record gun sales kind of ruined that. So, now, the narrative is that there are more guns but fewer people have them.
And, I’m serious. Taurus has some good concepts on occasion. It’s a shame their QC is poo.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the arguments of groups such as the National Rifle Association, which contended the restrictions are unconstitutional and undermine gun owners’ right to protect their homes with ample firepower.
“Sunnyvale’s interests in promoting public safety and reducing violent crime were substantial and important government interests,” 9th Circuit Judge Michael Daly Hawkins wrote for a unanimous three-judge panel.
Brian and Valerie Wilson asked the Assembly Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to approve a bill that would allow them to carry their loaded weapons and serve as foster parents.
In testimony to the committee in support of Assembly Bill 167, the couple said their attempts to get a variance from a state regulation prohibiting the carrying of loaded weapons with foster children was denied.
“I am really heartbroken that the Department of Child and Family Services gave us this denial letter,” Valerie Wilson said. “I really want a family.”
Wilson said the Las Vegas couple always planned to become foster parents and adopt but have been denied permission to do so because of the regulation, which he wants to change with the bill. Current rules require guns and ammunition to be stored separately in secure containers in homes with foster children.
Someone with a permit is doing more to protect their children than someone without.
Woman, who was denied a piece of paper protection by a judge, shoots stalker breaking into her home.
And a case against off body carry:
A building contractor who is renovating rooms at Extended Stay Suites in Columbia told police a pistol was stolen from his toolbox.
The contractor, Donnie Rosenbaum, said an unloaded Keltic .380-caliber pistol was in his unsecured toolbox in his room at the motel on Nashville Highway, according to a Columbia Police Department report. Rosenbaum’s son said he saw one of Rosenbaum’s employees take the handgun because Rosenbaum’s 13-year-old nephew was present and he did not want the teen having access to it.
