Full auto is so much fun that it must certainly pass any “sporting purposes” test, but I can’t see why anyone would think it a good idea for a shoulder-fired weapon in combat. An “aim and hit” approach is so much more effective.
I guess that more bullets more faster is more scarier, so that has to be illegal. Too much fun, and we can’t have that, can we? The sporting purposes nazi says, “No sporting purposes for you!”
