I bought a Beretta Bobcat in .22LR on a whim, too. New, it was a jam-o-matic, failing to feed once almost every magazine, for the first several hundred rounds, with every .22LR load I could find (over a dozen, from subsonic to high velocity, 32 to 40 grain. After those several hundred rounds, it shot everything without a problem. Great gun for pocket carry, tip-up barrel makes loading and unloading easy, and it is indeed cute.
