Pity
Rand Paul is dropping from the presidential race. His campaign never really took off, maybe because of the sideshow acts. He was who I was behind. Seems to me that he could have done well in New Hampshire. I’d have thought he’d have stayed in until at least after that and find his departure before that and the next debate unusual. I guess he’s made some sort of deal. Even though his staff is saying he’s not endorsing anyone. Or he’s worried about running for his senate seat.

Seems like my preferred candidate always drops out before the AL primary. Guess I need to figure out which of these guys I dislike least.
Having known people from Lucent and HP, I know it’s not Fiorina.

He may well be waiting until after NH to make his endorsement. I really hope it isn’t Rubio. I hate that guy. (I’m not worried that he would consider Christie…)

Just remember, it’s been proven, time and time again, that a “L”ibertarian party cannot successfully organize a two car funeral procession. And there is no indication that this will change in the forseeable future.

Glad to see him focusing on the Senate. He was my first pick, but its been apparent for a while he didn’t have a chance.

Probably money.

His campaign never took off, but not because of sideshow acts or anything else except that his guiding principle of unilateral isolationism, while idyllic, is not possible in this evil and dangerous world.
But I hope he did make a deal; I’ve said here before that there is a place for him in what we all hope replaces the pathetic excuse for conservatism that has been represented by “establishment” RINO’s. Gov desperately needs to adopt minimalism in most of what it does, and Dr. Ron is the perfect guy to be in charge of that.

Yes, we need the globalist foreign policy where our military is spread abroad in undeclared, no-win, nation-building wars, spending hundreds of billions, and producing tens of thousands of injured, disabled and dead military while our own country is allowed to under INVASION. Oh yes, the Constitutional foreign policy advocated by Paul, where you, as he said, declare war against a named enemy, ISIS, destroy them and come home. The meddling and regime change of the globalists has really worked out well, oh yeah. Everything is just great!

Right, a policy of further misuse, neglect and deterioration of what is arguably the ONLY function of fedgov, defense against foreign incursion and invasion, would be perfect to complete the stupid self-destructive activities of the past twelve years.
Then, with nothing to keep them out of our midst, pretty soon all of our enemies who are sworn to our destruction can do it right in our own back yard.
Don’t like that scenario? Trump/Cruz ’16

JTC. They are already in our back yards, who do you think is funding these guys?

I’d rather have him in the Senate right now.

Understand that, if he doesn’t endorse a Rove Republican, “Post Turtle” and the eGOP will try to insure he loses his seat in the Senate.

Right Doc, our government has been allowing them to enter and stay since the early 90’s. It would seem that IF, IF we had a pro-American administration, the “wake up call” would have been on 9-12-01 and the crazy and dangerous policy would have ended on 9-12-01!!
By “them”, I mean the group, Islam, from whence comes jihadists and among whom they find ” aid and comfort”. (Article III, Section 3, U.S. Constitution)

Open border policies are right now strangling the life out of heretofore peaceful and welcoming countries in Euro, some of which and scrambling to yank back the welcome mat and ship thousands of “guests” back from whence they come…to little too late, it’s over for them. And it soon will be for us too.
The only hope is major disruption. That’s where Trump comes in; disrupt the fucked up and corrupt establishment parties on both sides, disrupt the flow of those who would to a much greater degree than currently, replace us and/or kill us, and then disrupt their breeding activities with sustained bombardment from air and sea (no more sacrificial ground troop slaughter for the sake of the “children”.
Disruption. It’s Trump’s forte. Then start building back the Republic we once had with Cruz as potus after Trump has done his disruption and tired of the game, during which time hopefully Ted learns to keep his admirable religious views to himself and otherwise to keep his mouth shut a lot more.
