Why are anti-gun activists so violent?

Convicted murderer comes out for gun control.

  1. Garibaldi Says:

“Illegal private-party gun sales account for as much as 40% of gun purchases in the US.”

Well obviously there is only one way to stop this. We need more gun control laws! If we just keep passing more laws, the criminals will have to start following them sooner or later.

    /sarcasm

  2. Acme_Rocket Says:

“This is a phenomenon known as straw purchasing, a dangerous loophole that has remained open for decades.”

Yes, try telling that to the ATF.

  3. Mr Evilwrench Says:

OK, so now the definition of “loophole” has been changed to include explicitly illegal acts? And this one literally cannot be stopped. Even if you require all private transfers to be subject to background checks, all you will see is an increase in guns being reported stolen.

  4. Braden Lynch Says:

I stopped skimming and reading this drivel when I saw him praise the POTUS for saying basically that truckloads of firearms go into Chicago to support the violence.

  5. Mr Evilwrench Says:

Didn’t you know? The truckload is the traditional quantity for purchase here in Indiana.

  6. Phenicks Says:

What about the part he where he admits to a crime in The mid 90s? Is the ATF dropping by his door, or is he immune because of this loophole?

  7. Divemedic Says:

He misquotes the 2a when he says “The Second Amendment, meanwhile, does say guns should be “well-regulated.”

  8. Mark Matis Says:

Actually, truckloads of guns DO go to Chicago. Courtesy of the BATFE Field Divisions in the Midwest. There are 25 of them around the country:
    https://www.atf.gov/contact/atf-field-divisions
and each of them had their own version of Fast and Furious. Wouldn’t make much sense for Kansas City to run weapons to Mexico, so instead they ran them to gangs in the hives.

Down here in Florida, their Tampa Field Division was running them to Communist terrorists supporting former president Zelaya in Honduras. Not sure who Miami was arming.

The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like pig.

  9. Stuart the Viking Says:

Yea yea, it’s easier to blame “easy access to guns” than realize that you are a shit.

The reality is that no amount of cracking down on LAW ABIDING CITIZENS is going to make CRIMINALS behave themselves. Especially in America, even an all-out ban on all firearms would be ineffective. It would just as likely serve to vastly increase the number of criminals (and/or canoeing accidents)

  10. JimB Says:

My guns are “Well Regulated” POA=POI

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
